A non-refundable deposit of INR 25,000 per person, along with a completed application form and a passport copy (valid for at least 6 months), must be submitted at the time of reservation. Booking confirmation will be provided within one working day. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the commencement of the tour.
Following Documents are required:
- Original Passport at least 15 days prior to the departure for visa application.
- Medical certificate confirming by Doctor certifying that passenger is fit to travel above altitude of 15000 feet.
- Medical Insurance Mandatory for all participants (cost not included in the tour price).
Cancellation Policy:
If You Cancel Your Tour
You, or any member of your group, may cancel at any time by providing written notice or email from the person who made the booking. Cancellation charges will apply as per the following schedule:
- 10 days before departure : 50 percent of total tour cost
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of total tour cost (no refund)
While every effort is made to operate tours as planned, Shivalaya Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify or cancel any itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., bad weather, political unrest, permit delays, or natural calamities). If such changes occur before the tour begins, alternative dates may be offered. If the tour is already in progress, a pro-rata refund will be provided based on the unused portion of the trip. In all cases, our liability is limited to refunding the tour fee received.
Changes to Your Booking
If you wish to amend your travel plans (such as change of date or accommodation) after confirmation, we will do our best to accommodate your request. All such changes must be made in writing, and any additional costs incurred will be borne by the participant.
Our Liability
We take full responsibility for ensuring that the travel arrangements we provide are consistent with the descriptions and commitments made to you.
If any component of the trip is not provided as promised due to the fault of Shivalaya Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd., our agents, or employees, we will offer appropriate compensation. However, our liability is limited to the total cost of the travel arrangements.
We do not assume responsibility for services provided by third parties such as hotels, airlines, or local transport operators.
Delays, poor hospitality, or other shortcomings of third-party vendors are beyond our control. Participants are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings and documents throughout the journey.
Flight rescheduling policy
In the event of flight delays or rescheduling due to weather, political conditions, or permit issues, any extra costs incurred will be the responsibility of the participant. Shivalaya Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. shall not be held liable for additional charges, accommodation, or services resulting from such circumstances.
Hiring of porters and ponies during the Kailash Parikrama is optional and subject to local availability.
While these services are operated independently and are beyond the direct control of Shivalaya Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd., our team will assist participants in arranging reliable local porters and ponies upon request.
All costs related to these services must be paid directly by participants, and the company shall not be held liable for pricing, quality, or disputes arising from such arrangements.
All participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance that includes coverage for high-altitude trekking, emergency evacuation, and medical treatment. Shivalaya Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any costs arising due to lack of insurance coverage.
While we strive to deliver all services as described, we cannot guarantee absolute exactness of accommodations, facilities, or experiences.
Photographs used in promotional materials are for reference only and may differ from actual conditions on site.
Service standards in remote regions of Tibet may vary due to local limitations.
In case of any change in government taxes, fuel surcharges, or exchange rates, the final tour price may be revised accordingly.
Participants will be informed of such changes prior to departure, and confirmation will be sought before proceeding.
Forfeiture of Deposits
The non-refundable deposit will be forfeited in case of:
-Cancellation by the participant.
-Failure to adhere to the payment schedule.
-Visa denial or inability to travel for any reason (including medical grounds).
-Further deductions may apply as per the cancellation schedule.
Important Notes
These Terms and Conditions represent the complete and binding agreement between the participant and Shivalaya Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. No staff member, agent, or representative of Shivalaya Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. has the authority to amend these terms without written authorization.The company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
