Upon arrival at Lucknow airport, you will be greeted and driven to Nepalgunj. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

Overnight: Soaltee Westend Premier or similar.

Early morning, take a scenic one-hour flight to Simikot by fixed-wing aircraft, followed by a 22- minute helicopter ride to Hilsa. From Hilsa, a short 10-minute walk takes you to the border, where you'll be met and driven approximately 45 minutes to Taklakot. Rest of the day is free for acclimatization and leisure.

Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude. Use this time to relax, hydrate, and prepare your body for the upcoming trek. Enjoy leisure activities or simply soak in the serene surroundings.

After breakfast, drive to the sacred Lake Mansarovar (90 km / approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, take part in holy rituals including a spiritual bath, pooja, hawan, and meditation on the tranquil shores of this revered lake.

Overnight: Guest house.

After breakfast, drive to Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash. Spend the rest of the day preparing for the Parikrama scheduled for the next day.

Stay Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, you will drive to Sershung via Darchen to begin your Kailash Parikrama trek toward Dirapuk, situated at an altitude of 16,500 ft (5,030 meters). The trek covers approximately 12 kilometers and includes the spiritually significant stretch from Yamadwar to Dirapuk, which typically takes around 4 to 5 hours to complete. A packed lunch will be provided during the trek to keep you energized.

Once you reach Dirapuk, you have the option to perform Charan Sparsh, a revered ritual involving a pilgrimage to the North Face of Mount Kailash. This side excursion is approximately a 3-hour round trip (to and from Dirapuk), involving an uphill and downhill walk that allows for close darshan of the sacred mountain’s northern flank.

For those who prefer not to continue the second day of the Parikrama trek, Charan Sparsh can alternatively be performed the following morning before returning to Darchen for overnight rest and preparation for the next stage of the journey.

Overnight: Guest house.

This is the most challenging and spiritually significant day of the entire Yatra — a journey that pilgrims remember for a lifetime. The trek begins early with a steep ascent to the formidable Drolma La Pass (5640m / 18,600 ft), the highest point of the Parikrama. The climb is demanding, made tougher by the thin air at high altitude, but every step is filled with devotion and determination.

Just below the pass lies the sacred Gauri Kund (5440m / 18,400 ft), the "Lake of Compassion," shimmering with profound spiritual symbolism. After offering prayers, begin the long and sometimes steep descent on the eastern side of Mount Kailash, with panoramic views of vast, remote landscapes and snow-capped peaks on the horizon.

The trail continues along the east bank of a tranquil river, eventually leading to Zuthulpuk, known for its meditation caves and serene setting. This trek typically takes 10 to 12 hours, testing your endurance while offering deep inner reflection and a sense of spiritual transformation.

After breakfast, begin an 8 km trek to Zhong Chu, where vehicles will be waiting to receive you. From there, drive back to Darchen for lunch. Later, continue the journey to Hilsa via Purang.

Overnight: Mud houses

Early morning, board your flight to Simikot, followed by a connecting flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, drive back to Lucknow. Your spiritual journey concludes here.
