Damodar Kunda

Damodar Kunda Helicopter tour takes you to the holy lake Damodar Kunda in high Himalayas in Upper Mustang area of Nepal. Damodar is the another name of Lord Krishna in Hindu mythology.

Major Points to be noted:

Special entry permit of US$ 550 per person is necessary to visit Damodar Kunda.
Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) entry permit USD 30 per person.
For Helicopter flight permit, both permits of all travellers is necessary and need at least a week.
A person from Nepal Goverment (policeman) will fly from Jomsom to Damodar Kunda.

There are three major lakes in common called the Damodar Kunda. Brahma Kunda, Rudra Kunda and Ananta Kunda are the name of the three lakes in Damodar kunda area which are located at the altitude of 5500 m, in the remote Himalayan district of Mustang in western Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (1350m)

Welcome to Nepal! Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Transfer to your hotel for check-in and some rest.
In the evening, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple for Aarati Darshan, a beautiful and spiritually enriching experience.
Overnight stay at your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Manakamana Temple, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site.
Continue the journey to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city.
Check into your hotel in Pokhara.
Enjoy the evening at leisure or explore the vibrant Lakeside area.
Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara to Damodar Kunda via Jomsom

Transfer to the airport and fly to Jomsom.
From Jomsom, take a helicopter to Damodar Kunda, a sacred lake in the Mustang region.
Explore the serene surroundings and experience the spiritual significance of Damodar Kunda.
Helicopter back to Jomsom and overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 04: Jomsom to Pokhara and Kathmandu

Fly back to Pokhara in the morning.
From Pokhara, take a flight to Kathmandu.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, embark on a local sightseeing tour, covering the iconic Boudhanath Stupa and Jalnarayan (Budhanilkantha).
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 05: Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel.
If time permits, you may explore more of Kathmandu or indulge in some last-minute shopping.
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure.
Bid farewell to Nepal with cherished memories of your journey.
